Petition Distribution Help Needed for YMCA project PDF Print E-mail
Wednesday, 18 November 2009 08:10

Volunteers are needed to help distribute petitions to get the YMCA project on the ballot next April.  There's a meeting this Thursday.  Read the rest of this post to see a copy of the letter sent out regarding this.

UPDATE - the meeting has been canceled, due to delays in the legal review of the petition.  When the petitions are ready, more will be posted here and on the official Facebook group page.

Thanks to all of you that have shown interest in the Y/Rec Center project in Woodland Park. We have enjoyed a tremendous show of support and are amazed at the number of folks that have shown a willingness to participate.

This Thursday, November 19th, at Eagle Fire Lodge, at 6:30 P.M., we will be distributing petitions to those who wish to assist us in gathering signatures. At this juncture this is the key part of our campaign and we invite all those who would like to participate to attend this short, informative and very crucial get together.

Anyone in the city or county, 18 years of age or older can help in the petition process.

If you believe that you can be of assitance whether in the public or private schools, churches, businesses, or neighborhoods of Woodland Park, we would love to enlist your support.

We look forward to seeing you this Thursday.
And thanks again to all of you. The value of this project to our community will be felt for years to come....and you are the ones that will be responsible!
Looking forward as always,

NEIL LEVY
P.S. PLEASE forward this to anyone that you believe would be of benefit to this campaign. We welcome all the support we can muster.
