Pikes Peak Atlas PDF Print E-mail
Sunday, 06 September 2009 14:17
Are you looking for information on where to go hiking or biking in this area?  If so, there's really only one choice...the Pikes Peak Atlas.  This fantastic map had been out of print for many years, but an updated version has just been released!  You can pick it up at Team Telecycle here in town, other area merchants, or http://www.pikes-peak-atlas.com.  It's a large topographic map that shows trails you'd never know existed, covering the whole Pikes Peak region (though the area west of 67 and north of 24 is not covered due to an inset featuring Mueller State Park).  Cost is around $15; you can read more about the map in the Gazette.

Bought one the other day. Always a great map. Happy to see it back. Note if you buy it through the link posted turnaround time is very fast (just a few days for me).
